MAKE A PROJECT
By making a project you can create a change and simultaneously broadening your contacts, getting experience and skills, which will allow you to act on a bigger scale during next initiatives.
STEP 1: Think what would you like to change in the world and start your own project or find people, who already work in your desired area and join them.
STEP 2: Define the problem that you want to solve and try to find out as much about it as you can. You can also talk to people that are affected by it and find other solutions that were designed to address it.
STEP 3: Find where are the best areas to make an intervention with your solution, by mapping the system’s’ elements and breaking down the problem. Brainstorm and write down as many ideas for a potential solution as you can.
STEP 4: Choose one idea and build a prototype of a solution to check how it will work by putting little time and effort.
STEP 5: Design an improved version of your idea, implementing conclusions from testing a prototype.

GET AN INTERNSHIP
An internship can be a direct way towards a job. It’s also a great opportunity to try out new things, gain some experience, knowledge, learning by osmosis and test different roles and functions for yourself.
how to get it?
STEP 1: Find places which mission and work culture suits you. Aim high, make sure that this experience will allow you to develop crucial skills, gain knowledge and broaden your contacts. This will help you widen your further options or be closer your final vision.
STEP 2: Think what you can offer or how can you help certain organisation. Write this in an email and try to schedule a meeting. Instead of sending CV, create your personal website or build a portfolio. Show your creativity, originality and engagement.
STEP 3: Sometimes e-mail can fail. You can always try to talk to people from a certain organization during an event or go directly to a secretary’s office. If this also doesn’t help, try somewhere else, there are plenty of options.

FIND A MENTOR
He might not only guide you and support in your current challenges, but also connect you with potential partners, co-workers and clients. If nobody that you know comes to your mind, you can always find such person at networking events, industry meetings, through social media or online mentoring platforms.
You might also try to be in touch with few people that are more experienced in specific fields and think about potential areas that you might support them in. To form a true relation there needs to be a mutual flow.
